UCF is committed to student access and success through articulation agreements with K-12, two-year and four-year institutions to ensure seamless transfer of academic credit for students that we serve.
Types of Articulation Agreements
Dual Enrollment Articulation Agreements
Dual enrollment is an acceleration mechanism that is encouraged by S.1007.271 of the Florida Statutes that allows eligible high school students to enroll and take courses at the university that are creditable towards a baccalaureate or associate in arts/science degree and that meet high school graduation requirements. If you are a prospective dual enrollment student, guidelines or checklists for dual enrollment are available here.
If you are a school district, a private school, or a home education program and you would like to enter into a dual enrollment articulation agreement with UCF, you should email your request to ucfarticulation@ucf.edu.
Statewide 2+2 Articulation Agreement
Florida has established a 2+2 Statewide Articulation Agreement for AA and select AS degrees to facilitate seamless transition from a Florida State College to one of the 12 state universities. The agreement does not guarantee a state or community college AA holders admission to a particular university of choice or to limited/specialized access programs. The 2+2 agreement is governed by 6A-10.024 of the Florida Administrative Code and Chapter 1007.23 of the Florida Statutes.
Statewide Course Numbering System
Florida’s Statewide Course Numbering System, established under Chapter 1007.24 of the Florida Statutes, facilitates the transfer of credits among all postsecondary public institutions and participating private institutions.
