Success Coaches FAQ
Your first step is to connect with us. A staff member will reach out to schedule an appointment with your Success Coach. If you have already signed up and no one has contacted you within 48 business hours after signing up, you can call us at 407-823-4547 or email us at UCFConnect@ucf.edu to schedule an appointment. You can also visit us at the Transfer Connect Center on the main campus or visit one of our UCF Connect Centers located throughout Central Florida.
Be ready to talk about yourself. The conversation will include going over your academic goals, career interests, and barriers you feel are hindering your success. Bring unofficial copies of all your transcripts and understand whether you are in an A.A. or A.S. degree program.
After you connect with us, a staff member will reach out to schedule an appointment with your Success Coach. Your Success Coach will assist you in confirming your career goals and develop an academic plan for your success. The coach will schedule subsequent meetings at agreed-upon intervals to support you throughout your transfer journey at UCF. The Success Coach keeps you on track for graduation, including completion of pre-requisites for your selected UCF major, and guides you through admissions, financial aid, orientation, and registration processes. Once you are a UCF Knight, your coach will provide resources when they are needed and support you as you progress toward graduation at UCF.
Success Coaches are available to meet via phone, Skype, Zoom, email, or in person at the Transfer Connect Center on the main campus or at one of our UCF Connect Centers across Central Florida, whichever is more convenient for you.
Success Coaches are your point of contact for support, guidance, and assistance throughout your UCF journey. In addition, a Success Coach collaborates with you to develop a holistic strategy to help you overcome any challenges through the transfer process and throughout your educational journey.
